Supported by the NDA, Scottish Enterprise and the Highlands & Islands Enterprise, this year’s Scottish ‘Meet the Buyer’ Nuclear Supply Chain Event will be held at the Dunblane Hydro Hotel, Dunblane, Stirlingshire on Thurs, 13th June 2019.

In recognition that the nuclear market represents billions of pounds in Scotland alone and is part of a £65 billion market across the UK over the next decade, there’s never been a better time to learn more about the nuclear industry, its needs and how you might be able to play your part in supporting the sector, whether you are an SME or a bigger company.

To help meet this growing technology market, the Scottish ‘Meet the Buyer’ Nuclear Supply Chain Event will enable you to:

In promoting potential business opportunities and supplier networking, this one day event will include presentations from nuclear sector leaders, a supplier’s exhibition as well as the chance to pre-book ‘face-to-face’ meetings with buyers and key representatives from nuclear site operators and major nuclear contractors. With a condensed programme of presentations and specialist buyers attending from over 10 site operators and Tier 1 and 2 contract companies (invited buyers include Sellafield, EDF Energy, Magnox, National Nuclear Laboratory, Jacobs, AECOM, Nuvia, Atkins Global, Wood Group, Morgan Sindall, Costain and others), 2019 will be busier than ever offering you even greater opportunities for networking with other delegates and buyer organisations in the exhibition area.

What will you get?

Your day will begin with a series of short presentations hosted by the Scottish Enterprise and other key orginisations where our guest speakers will explain how suppliers can successfully engage with the nuclear sector by understanding its needs and capture business opportunities in the future. Thereafter you will be able to mingle with suppliers in the parallel exhibition area and attend face-to-face meetings with buyer representatives throughout the remainder of the day.

Supply Chain Exhibition

The parallel suppliers’ exhibition will not only allow you to demonstrate your business capabilities to those who are keen to know more about you, but also enable two representatives from your stand to attend the industry presentations and pre-book one-to-one appointments. This convergence of exhibiting companies and participating delegates, who will each represent differing products and corporate entities, also means that further benefit can be gained from inter-supplier networking on the day, with opportunities for B2B sales, project collaborations and subsequent spin-off’s often being an added bonus.

Exhibition space is available for £140.00 per square metre (plus VAT) including table, chairs, power, refreshments, buffet lunch and two complimentary delegate tickets for stand personnel to attend presentations and pre-book Meet the Buyer appointments with representatives from key organisations involved in the UK’s nuclear sector.
